Training Rooted in Instincts and Built for Real Life

At Wolf Girl Canine Club, we look beyond surface-level behavior to understand what each dog is communicating. Our individualized programs build emotional resilience through structured engagement, predictable handling, clear leadership, and real-world practice.

We train the dog while mentoring the owner because lasting change requires teamwork, consistency, and repetition.

Please also update the process so that the discovery call is always presented as the first step. After the discovery call, clients can proceed to the Complimentary Behavioral Evaluation. Please use this sequence consistently across all buttons, forms, and website sections.

FAQ's

What age should my puppy start group classes?

Puppies may begin group classes at approximately 10 weeks old after receiving at least two rounds of age-appropriate DHPP/DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, and appropriate deworming. The most recent vaccinations must have been administered at least seven days before class. Puppies must also have a negative fecal test, including a negative Giardia result, before attending. Vaccination and testing records are required.

Group classes will launch in early November at our Lakeside facility.

Are the training methods used at Wolf Girl Canine Club humane and safe?

Wolf Girl Canine Club is a balanced training company. We use clear communication, structure, rewards, and positive reinforcement alongside fair corrections when appropriate. Depending on the individual dog and training goals, we may recommend tools such as properly fitted prong collars or Mini Educator e-collars. Every tool is introduced thoughtfully and used responsibly, with the dog’s safety, comfort, and understanding as our priorities. Positive-reinforcement-focused training is also available upon request.

Each session lasts about an hour, with courses like puppy training typically spanning several weeks.

What results can I expect from a behavioral modification program?

Every dog is different, and results depend on the dog’s history, temperament, behavior, and chosen program. Owner participation is also a major part of the process. We provide hands-on training, clear instruction, homework, and continued guidance, but families must consistently practice and reinforce the training at home.

Many clients see meaningful improvements in their dog’s behavior, communication, confidence, and ability to navigate everyday life. No trainer can ethically guarantee a specific outcome, but the strongest and most lasting results happen when the trainer and owner work together as a team

Do you offer any support or follow-up after the training session ends?

Yes. Our relationship with clients does not simply end when their training program is completed. Clients are always welcome to contact us when they need guidance, have questions, or would like additional support. We continue to maintain relationships with many of the families we have trained, and many later become daycare, boarding, or other care-service clients with Wolf Girl Canine Club.
